The app Alarms – Morning Alarm Clock caught my eye a few weeks ago on the main page of the iOS App Store. Its creators promised a guaranteed awakening in all circumstances, so I decided to test whether "extreme alarm clocks" really work. Let's take a closer look at Alarms - Morning Alarm Clock.

Appearance

As with many other apps, Alarmy - Morning Alarm Clock first welcomes you with a series of informative screens that give you a brief introduction to what awaits you in the app. After that, a short application guide will start, during which you will master its basic control. The home page of the application consists of panels on which you can set the wake-up time, wake-up form, repetition, alarm tone and the method of checking the awake state, or activating the wake-up snooze.

Function

It is clear from the description of the application that Alarmy - Morning Alarm Clock is not just an ordinary alarm clock. The goal of the app is to ensure that you don't just wake up in the morning, you actually get up. You can choose how you want to ensure getting out of bed - for example, you can set a certain number of steps, take a picture of a specific place in your home, solve a series of math problems, shake, solve a short logical problem, read a barcode or write. For all items, you can set their difficulty, or you can completely deactivate this insurance. In the application, you can set any number of alarms, or a quick alarm clock. In the application, you can also read a summary of current news, your horoscope or the weather forecast when you wake up, or listen to various relaxing sounds before falling asleep.

Finally

Alarms is a comprehensive app that helps you fall asleep and wake up. Don't expect it to analyze your sleep and wake you up when it's lightest. Alarmy is a no-compromise alarm clock that you can also quite hate in the morning. It probably won't help chronic "teenagers", but it's great in cases where you really want to ensure a perfect awakening. The advantage is that less demanding users can get by with its basic free version. Anyone interested in the absence of ads and bonus features in the form of extra insurance (Wake Up Check, steps, typing, bonus extreme alarm sounds, or the fact that the application will stress you out by announcing the time loudly) will pay an additional 139 crowns per month.
