Yesterday we wrote about the newly released beta version of the iOS operating system, which Apple released for all developers with adequate accounts. This is the new version of iOS 11.4, the first beta version of which arrived less than a week after the official version 11.3 was published. A day after developers could participate in the closed beta test, Apple also released a public beta that basically anyone can participate in.

If you want to try (and test) news that will arrive to regular users in a few weeks, the procedure is very simple. Just register on the website beta.apple.com, where you then create a special beta profile for your device. After downloading and installing it, you will have access to all beta versions that you are authorized to download. So if you currently have iOS 11.3 installed on your iPhone, you should see iOS 1 Beta 11.4 after installing the beta profile. It is very easy to remove the beta profile at any time, so you can switch to the generally available versions.

The public beta is basically no different from the developer one, if you want a detailed list of news, read this article. In short, the new version contains what Apple did not have time to add to the last one, i.e. mainly AirPlay 2 support and iMessage synchronization via iCloud. Along with the new iOS public beta, Apple also released a public beta for tvOS. In this case, mainly because of AirPlay 2.
