It's been some Friday since Instagram decided to take inspiration from Snapchat and added the Stories feature, which became very popular and basically destroyed Snapchat. Now another change has taken place in these stories.

Also, don't you like individuals who regularly check your Instagram Stories but don't actually follow you? So know that now they will have their task much easier. Newly, after 24 hours, the list of users who viewed your story will disappear.

It means that you won't see the said list even for selected stories, which is a feature that Instagram added about a year ago. This allows you to select stories from the archived section and display them on your profile. The "watchers" list was a very easy way for people to find out if their ex or secret love happened to be spying on them, for example.

If you really care about the list and check it regularly, you don't need to hang your head. You'll still see the list, but only as long as the story is available on your profile. After 24 hours, it will be archived, but you will no longer be able to find out who saw it. Instead of the classic list, you will only see the information message "Viewer lists are only available for 24 hours".

Other changes on Instagram concern IGTV. If you're following someone who regularly feeds their channel with videos, you'll see a new preview and caption on the main page. The most popular photo-sharing app has also made a radical change in security, banning all images and photos that feature self-harm. The move comes after Instagram was accused of the suicide of British teenager Molly Russell, who followed a series of accounts that promoted self-harm and suicide.
