The iCloud+ cloud service is now an integral part of Apple operating systems, which takes care of synchronizing files, data, settings and many others. That is why many apple growers can no longer imagine life without it. At the same time, it is also used for storing backups. Relatively recently, Apple has significantly expanded its service. From the "ordinary" iCloud, which was only used for synchronization, he turned it into iCloud+ and added a number of other functions to it.

As we mentioned in the beginning, the apple cloud service has become an indispensable partner of Apple products. Apple hit the nail on the head by incorporating its own password manager, the Private Relay function (Private Transmission), the function to hide an email address or support for secure video via HomeKit. But all this could be moved a little further.

The possibilities of iCloud could be expanded

Although iCloud+ is quite popular and relied on by a large group of users, there is still room for improvement. After all, apple growers themselves discuss this on discussion forums. First of all, Apple could work on the key fob itself. Keychain on iCloud is a native password manager that can easily manage passwords, various certificates, secure notes and more. However, it lags behind its competition in some respects. It bothers some users that the keychain is only available on Apple devices, while the competition is mostly multi-platform. This deficiency can be understood in a way. But what Apple could really work on is incorporating a feature for quickly sharing passwords, for example, with family as part of Family Sharing. Something like this has long been available in other programs, while Keychain on iCloud is still missing today.

Users would also like to see some changes to the iCloud+ Private Relay feature. In this case, the function serves to mask the user's IP address when browsing the Internet. But let's leave the level of protection aside for now. Some fans would appreciate it if Apple restored Safari for Windows and brought other benefits from the iCloud+ cloud service to the competing Windows platform as well. One of these benefits would of course be the aforementioned Private Transmission.

Will we see these changes?

In the end, the question is whether we will actually see such changes at all. Although some apple growers would welcome them with open arms, it can be expected that something like this is unlikely to happen. Apple is very well aware of the importance of its cloud service, and it would be strange for it to extend its capabilities to rival Windows, thus preparing itself for an imaginary ace that forces some users to remain loyal to Apple platforms.
