Apple has already launched the iAds advertising network, so now you too can come across ads in the iAds advertising network. Take a look at the article and see the first advertisement - for Nissan.

iAds will start appearing on your iPhone the same way you're used to. Their "revolutionary" comes the moment you click on the ad. Safari doesn't open, but a layer with a new ad app is launched on top of the current app. It can contain interactive material, a game, a video - in short, anything the advertiser deems appropriate.

Apple launched the iAds ad network on July 1st, so you may now come across some of the ads in apps that will support iAds. Check out the first creation for the promotion of the Nissan car company, namely their new car Nissan Leaf.

Personally, I find iAds to be nice. I didn't click on the ads because Safari opened afterwards and I often ended up on a non-mobile page. This interactive form suits me. But only as long as I'm on WiFi. If I were to download such advertisements via the operator's network and this would significantly increase the data from my data limit, I would not be very satisfied. Not to mention, if I were to download this ad outside of a 3G network, I'd expect that..
