Netflix is about to cancel inactive subscriptions

According to the latest reports, Netflix is going to automatically cancel all prepaid accounts that no longer use the streaming platform to watch movies or series. But how will it all work? If you are still paying for your subscription and have simply forgotten about the service, or simply do not look, the following lines may be of interest to you. Netflix is now going to email all accounts that have not been active for at least a year, informing them that their account will be canceled for the next year of inactivity. So in total you have to be inactive for two years for the subscription to be canceled at all. Of course, this is a perfect move on Netflix's part that may save some users money, but it also has its drawbacks. The time of inactivity is relatively long.

Let's pour some pure wine. A person who actually forgets that they've been paying for a streaming platform for a year and then gets an email saying their account will be canceled is likely to watch Netflix again because the email reminds them. This will start the whole cycle anew and the cancellation will most likely never happen. But how much would you have to pay Netflix if you forgot about your subscription and then the company canceled it on its own? For example, let's take the most expensive model, which will cost you 319 crowns per month. As we now know, cancellation will occur after two inactive years, i.e. 24 months. In this way, you would practically have to throw 7 crowns out of the window for the cancellation to happen at all. But Netflix claims that this news will save money for several people. According to them, less than half a percent of subscribers (which could easily be 656 people) do not use the platform, but still pay for it.
