iPhone SE reports problems with Haptic Touch technology

Only recently we got a brand new iPhone with the SE designation. This phone is directly based on the popular "eight" and, as is usual with SE phones, it combines a proven design with extreme performance. But what's new? iPhone SE on the iPhone 8 loses is 3D Touch. This has completely disappeared from apple phones and has been replaced by a technology known as Haptic Touch. So let's recall the main difference that separates these two technologies. While Haptic Touch works by holding your finger on the display for a longer time, 3D Touch was able to detect the pressure on the display and was thus many times faster. But Apple said a final goodbye to this technology and will probably never return to it. As a replacement, he introduced the just-mentioned Haptic Touch, already at iPhone Xr.

But currently, users around the world are reporting a problem with this technology on their new Apple phones. While on the iPhone 11 or 11 Pro (Max) you can hold your finger on, for example, an iMessage message from the notification center or the lock screen and you will immediately will display a larger menu and the option to unsubscribe, you won't find this on the iPhone SE. On the latest addition to the Apple phone family, this feature only works if you've just received a message and the notification is shown at the top. In order to be able to use this function in the aforementioned notification center and on the locked screen, all you have to do is swipe from right to left and tap the button Display. If you are interested in the world of Apple and have an overview of apple phones, you are probably experiencing it right now déjà vu. The iPhone Xr faced the same problem immediately after its release, but the problem was fixed after a few days through software update. So one would expect that Apple would already be anticipating this problem and fix it right away, but as it stands, no fix is on the way for now.

According to the man named Matthew Panzarino from TechCrunch magazine, in this case it is not an error on the part of Haptic Touch and the function works as it should. For this reason, we shouldn't expect this issue to be fixed through an update and should accept how it works now. But this is a complicated matter and it simply does not make sense, does it Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), "removed" this feature, when many users have been used to it for many years. Personally, I hope that the Californian giant will start to repair as soon as possible and everything will be pedaling as before. If you also have the new iPhone SE, you've spotted this one lack? Let us know in the comments.

CleanMyMac X is heading to the Mac App Store

The terms and conditions of apple app stores are really strict and many apps are never released because of them App Store doesn't get Because of these conditions, we won't even find a number of popular programs here, so we have to download them directly from the website. But the Californian giant in recent years tuned out a number of conditions. This is proven, for example, by the arrival of the office package Microsoft Office, which arrived in early 2019 and offers users in-app purchases (subscriptions) directly through your Apple ID. Currently, another popular application has made its way to the Mac App Store, which is CleanMyMac X from the MacPaw studio workshop.

The CleanMyMac X application could be described as probably the most popular software for managing the macOS operating system. The main problem, why this application could not get to the App Store until now, is quite clear. Before 2018, CleanMyMac used disposables lifelong licenses where customers could purchase major updates at a significant discount. However, with the arrival of CleanMyMac X version, we received an annual subscription for the first time, thanks to which the MacPaw company could now finally get its gem into the official apple store. But the classic version from the Internet is slightly different from the one in the Mac App Store. If you reach for the version directly from the App Store, you won't have Photo Junk, Maintenance, Updater and Shredder functions available. As for the price, it is almost identical. To buy an annual subscription on the company's website, you will pay around seven hundred (according to the current exchange rate, since the amount is in dollars), and for the version directly from Apple, you will pay CZK 699 per year.
