In this regular column, every day we look at the most interesting news that revolves around the California company Apple. We focus here exclusively on main events and we leave all speculations or various leaks aside. So if you are interested in current events and want to be informed about the apple world, definitely spend a few minutes on the following paragraphs.

"The most expensive skateboard wheels are made by Apple"

Nový Mac Pro is often the target of derision as people point out Apple's incredible overpricing. In this, the Californian giant didn't help himself either wheels, which will cost you 12 thousand crowns when configuring the computer. But what if you want to buy them later, i.e. as an individual product? In that case, you will need to prepare 20 990 $, which is a bit much for "ordinary" wheels. He released a channel last week Unbox Therapy a new video in which he built a skateboard out of a Mac Pro and these wheels. This step was inspired by the guys from Braille skateboarding, who are directly involved in skateboarding and tried to do it their own way. So they ordered wheels for the Mac Pro, attached them to a normal board and started trying different tricks. You can see how it turned out in the video attached below, which is definitely worth watching.

The processors in the new 13″ MacBook Pro are made entirely exclusively

We recently got an updated performance 13″ MacBook Pro (2020). The entire apple community expected a kind of revolution from this model. Last year, Apple was able to learn from its mistakes and introduced the 16″ MacBook Pro, while it was expected to use the same concept for its smaller sibling. Unfortunately, this did not happen and we only got a few small things. Specifically, the keyboard was replaced, when Apple finally said goodbye to the butterfly mechanism and fitted the latest "pro" with a keyboard Magic Keyboard, which uses a classic scissor mechanism. Next, we waited for the introduction of the processor Intel tenth generation, in which, however, there is a minor catch.

While the 13″ MacBook Pro se by four The Thunderbolt ports offer a better processor (tenth generation), the model with two Thunderbolt ports was omitted from the innovation and we find the same CPU that beats in the previous generation, for example. The performance differences between these processors are quite small, but the main improvement of the tenth generation lies in the graphics chip, which is several times more powerful and can handle, for example, the Apple Pro Display XDR monitor. But as it turned out now, tenth-generation Intel processors with a label Ice Lake, which we find in the latest MacBook Pro with the mentioned four Thunderbolt ports, were made exclusively for the needs of apple laptops. Compared to classic processors, these chips are mainly lower in TDP (Thermal Design Power), or in the maximum possible thermal performance, and they do not work with Intel Optane memory.
