When Apple introduced the new iPhone 8 the Plus variant was rumored to be the best photomobile on the market. Subsequent reviews a thorough photo tests these hypotheses were basically confirmed, with the fact that the only one who can compete with the new iPhone 8 Plus is Samsung's flagship, in the form of the Galaxy Note 8 model. and video focuses - DxOMark. However, this test platform has now run an updated test of the Note 8 (which was previously conducted using the older methodology) and as it turns out, the resulting scores of the two phones are identical.

The iPhone 8 Plus has a score of 94 points in this benchmark, and the Galaxy Note 8 recently reached the same value. However, both phones conquered this goal in a slightly different way. In the partial tests, everyone did a little differently. The Note 8 did a little worse in the case of video, where it "only" scored 84 points (iPhone 8 Plus scored 89 points - you can find the full test here). On the contrary, in the case of the photo test, the Note 8 reached a full 100 points, while the iPhone 8 Plus "only" scored 96.

According to the authors of this test, the Note 8 is better in the area of zooming, and they also found an objectively better bokeh effect. In the end, it is a very good photophone, which is at the very top of what is currently on offer (you can find the complete test here). However, according to the authors, this "glory" may not be eternal, on the contrary, it can disappear very quickly. New flagships that have the potential to be even better photomobiles will be here very soon. For example, the new Google Pixel 2 XL was introduced yesterday. The iPhone X will then arrive in a month. It will be very interesting to see how these two flagships compete, as they will be the ones that come with the best hardware currently available.
