Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, who committed suicide in July, managed to record an episode of Apple's Carpool Karaoke entertainment show before his death. Filming took place a few days before his death, and it was not yet known if Apple would air the episode. However, a message appeared on the band's Facebook page yesterday that the episode will be broadcast. It will appear next Thursday on the band's Facebook page, where everyone can view it, regardless of whether they have an Apple Music subscription or not.

Apple never highlighted this filmed episode, it never appeared in any trailer before. Therefore, it was said that due to the tragic event, this episode will not be published. It is not yet clear if it will be available alongside the other episodes on Apple Music, or if it will only be available on the band's Facebook page.

Along with Chester, Mike Shinoda, Joe Hahn and actor Ben Chang, known from the sitcom Community, also participated in this episode.
