The publication of sales and results in individual categories always enjoys a lot of attention, when everyone enthusiastically watches how Apple did in the given period, or whether it improved with its products year-on-year or vice versa. This time, however, the results may be twice as interesting given the situation on world markets.

But let's put into perspective why the financial results for this (third) quarter can be so important. The most important thing is that it will reflect the sales of the new generation of iPhone 14 (Pro) phones and other new products that the giant showed off at the beginning of September.
Will Apple meet year-on-year success?
Some Apple fans are currently speculating on whether Apple can meet with success. Due to the relatively interesting new iPhone 14 Pro (Max) phones, the year-on-year increase in sales is real. This model moves significantly forward, when, for example, it brings Dynamic Island instead of the criticized cut-out, a better camera with a 48 Mpx main lens, a newer and more powerful Apple A16 Bionic chipset or the long-awaited Always-on display. According to current news the "pro" series is much more popular. Unfortunately, however, at the expense of the basic iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, which are rather overlooked by customers.

But this time there is one more important factor that can play a key role in this particular case. The whole world is struggling with rising inflation, which causes household savings to depreciate. The US dollar also took a stronger position, while the European euro and the British pound experienced a decline compared to the dollar. After all, this caused a rather unpleasant increase in prices in Europe, Great Britain, Canada, Japan and other countries, while in the United States the price did not change, on the contrary, it remained the same. Due to the type of new iPhones as such, it can be tentatively assumed that the demand for them will decrease in the given regions, specifically due to the increase in price and lower income caused by inflation. That is why the financial results for this quarter could be more than interesting. It is a question of whether the innovations of the new iPhone 14 (Pro) model series will be stronger than the rise in prices and inflation depreciating the income of individuals.

In Apple's favor, its homeland can play an important role. As we mentioned above, in the United States the price of new iPhones remains the same, while inflation here is slightly lower than in the case of European countries. At the same time, the Cupertino giant is most popular in the states.
