Facebook is constantly working on its mobile applications, and in recent days it has started to deliver significant news to users in Messenger. iPhones and iPads now graphically show whether your messages have been sent, delivered and read.

Last week, an update was released that should significantly speed up the entire application, and at the same time, Facebook showed a new way to show that messages have been sent, received and finally read. The existing text notes have been replaced by gray and blue circles and miniature icons of your friends.

To the right next to each message, after sending it (by pressing the Send button), you will see a gray circle start to appear, which signals that the message has been sent. It is followed by a blue circle indicating that the message has been sent, and once delivered, another, smaller, filled circle appears inside.

However, the "delivered" status does not mean that the other party has read it. The message could have just arrived on his mobile device (and appeared as a notification) or appeared unread when the web Facebook window was open. Only when the user opens the conversation will the mentioned blue circles turn into the friend's icon.

After the graphic changes, you now have a slightly more detailed overview of how your messages were delivered and possibly read in Messenger. You can also see the graphical signaling about the status of the message in the list of all conversations.
