Apple picker Ngmoco, known for example for its successful online shooter Eliminate, similar to Quake 3: Arena or Unreal Tournament, has just released a new promotion, which is intended for the new iPhone 4 and its exceptional Retina display.
Thanks to Eliminate: GunRange, as the new product is called, you will find yourself in a virtual shooting range, where you will be able to shoot in almost 150 challenges using 12 real weapons. You could probably miss the uniqueness of this arcade, because high resolution games will soon be commonplace in the Appstore thanks to the already selling iPhone 4. Nevertheless, Ngmoco made GunRange an exceptional game. This is mainly because it is the first shooter that uses a gyroscope for aiming, which looks really cool (see the video below).
In addition to these features, the game will offer comparison and sharing of your results, and there will also be medals and other awards. The application is currently only available in the US Appstore (of course) and requires an iPhone 4 of course.
The you-tube video is driving you crazy, when viewing images, the window from you-tube merges into them, so you can't see the whole image =(
Can I ask about the viewer? I don't have any problems on Safari or Firefox, so I don't know exactly what it is..

Games using the Gyroscope are intended only for iOs devices that have this hardware, i.e. only the iPhone 4 and the new iPod Touch.
