Press Release: Turn your iPhone into a fully functional navigation system thanks to Dynavix - smart navigation with precise voice instructions and the latest map data stored in the iPhone's internal memory. Dynavix Navigation combines the best features available on the market with a brilliant design and user experience.
Dynavix is also an ideal choice for users who have no experience with navigation, thanks to its intuitive and simple user interface. The navigation is adapted to the control logic of the iPhone, multi-touch control is a matter of course.
One of the main attractions of this new navigation is undoubtedly the smart route function, which allows you to choose the optimal route taking into account the day of the week and the time of day. This way you can easily avoid traffic jams, whether you are traveling on Monday morning or Sunday afternoon.
Another important function undoubtedly includes more than 99% coverage of descriptive numbers in the Czech Republic. The standard database from the company TeleAtlas, which contains 450 thousand descriptive numbers, has been expanded to 2,3 million addresses. Thanks to this expanded database, Dynavix navigation ensures a convenient and quick destination search and avoids unnecessary wandering in long streets or small villages.
"There are approximately 16 navigations available in the App Store from different vendors, and we believe that the Dynavix app will be among the top three due to its functionality and intuitive operation." stated Tomáš Tvrzský, chairman of the company's board of directors. "Compared to the competition, we can boast of faster calculations of longer routes. The Dynavix application also offers extensive options for personal settings." The user can thus choose, for example, the black or white style of the entire application according to his taste, he also has a wide range of options for setting the background, map color, info panel data, theme or car.
Dynavix navigation is based on many years of experience in the development of navigation applications and will therefore include, among other things, lane navigation, speed assistant with sound warning, offer an alternative route and the function of prohibited sections, 2D and 3D map display, display of important buildings in 3D, automatic recalculation of the route , automatic day or night mode, radar alerts, voice instructions from actors Pavel Liška and Ilona Svobodová. The user can then choose voice instructions, including the user interface, in Czech, Slovak, German, English or Vietnamese, and other language mutations will follow.
Another no less important function is the database of risk locations. Thanks to this function, the driver is warned in advance of an approaching dangerous place, thereby increasing his attention to the surrounding traffic and reducing driving speed. This has a beneficial effect on shortening the braking distance in the event of imminent danger. Simply increasing the driver's attention in front of such a place has a significant benefit in reducing the number of accidents and the number of wasted human lives.
There is also a so-called Quick panel, which allows you to immediately find the nearest gas station, accommodation or refreshments on your route and easy access to iPod control. It will also help you easily find the nearest parking lot in the vicinity of your destination.
You can directly call a selected point of interest, such as a restaurant, and reserve tables, or go to its website and view the menu. Dynavix navigation for iPhone is full of original and smart solutions that create a strong impression of navigation as a whole.
The Dynavix application is available for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G through the Czech and Slovak App Store. You can buy the version with map coverage of Central Europe for an introductory price of €39,99, i.e. approximately CZK 1000. In addition, applications with map coverage of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Great Britain and Ireland, Nordic countries will be available in the App Store, or you can purchase only a map of the Czech Republic. More map groupings will follow.

I wonder here. Covering the Czech Republic with descriptive numbers is no longer such a trick, because I saw it with Navigon as with the first navigation and I believe that it is definitely the navigation that had it before it, I am interested in the smart route file, if it has something like navigontraffic report or if it has just a list of places where columns are formed, which is good enough. I admit that I have also tried the built-in fixed navigations and honestly, they have something like TMC or live traffic if you want, but the quality is not great. I am very curious about it, but I would rather write a review with all the facts than a press release... Plus some comparisons...
As far as I know, there is no rear traffic monitor, the so-called "smart" route is based only on entered statistical data...
so it continues to leave me cold and has no further benefit for me... Yes, as SteveJSF wrote here, the navigation does not have the latest maps and updates are scarce, but it is enough for me to drive... Although I admit that at the moment thanks to the company car I have an Amundsen navigation (on which I'm cursing, but which is enough for me to cover a couple of unknown routes) and I'll complete the "pinpoint" with the help of Mapy.cz (their apps)
I would also like to see a review, but it's probably too early for that. According to this article, it looks nice, but articles of this type are not meant to point out flaws.
3 things deter me from this navigation:
– I saw a file of criticism in the first user reaction to it on the net. But you probably need to wait for the praise.
– I didn't find it in the App Store. The first mention of it left me cold, with the second I started to find out what and how, and then I searched in the App Store, but to no avail - I use a US account. I have enough $ in my honor to not have to think long and possibly buy it, but if it's not, it's not. Damn it, I'll spend my time elsewhere. I don't intend to start a CZ account because of that.
– I have already bought a navigation system from Navigon, so the question is whether I will want to spend on another one. Again, I don't need it that often, actually almost not at all. Unless I could see differences in map updates - Navigon definitely doesn't break in updates, so I'm almost starting to regret buying it. I think that those who wanted some kind of navigation for the iPhone, in most cases already have it, so the developers will not have an easy time with Dynavix - they need to be lured somehow. Whoever bought another one will hesitate a lot (or won't hesitate at all), whoever stole it somewhere will steal this one too = no profit for the developer (apart from possible positive feedback and therefore some advertising).
So I personally don't have the option to buy this navigation right now - it's not in the US App Store, where I have enough free money. Also, due to my not-so-great usability of the navigation, I probably wouldn't be tempted to invest maybe $60 in it, I don't want to steal it anywhere, so if I don't find some interesting offer, then I won't even get around to at least trying this navigation. Well, it follows from this that it is only a faint dream that I will buy it someday. Although I admit that I would like to have it - I am not indifferent and I have free $ for it.
Well, you see, I saw it in the CZStore and I don't want to try it, I think that in my life I've already tried navigation a lot... if it's good, I'll hurry or find out later and buy this one, but I don't know...
I won't steal, because, among other things, I'm also a developer (more or less, I design my own apps, according to the customer's needs), although I used JB mainly because of ScummVM, anyway I didn't enjoy constantly waiting for new and new JB, which was delayed by a long time , before the ofiko romka was released or whatever it's called in this world ;) and I just don't miss it... I left O2 here a long time ago...
A review of Dynavix is already in preparation. I have an app to test and I'm working on it. I really like the app so far. I also recommend looking at the discussion on the iPhone forum, the link is here in the discussion by the user Golf and I must say that he is a real expert on the word taken.
2SteveJSF:
I think that the developers from Dynavyx, thanks to your triple warning about the state of your US honor, are already motivated enough and will certainly publish their application on the CZ store in the near future! ;-)
:-) Yes, yes, they must have understood that I am a salvation for them. :D
I'm not a rich person, I just have enough prepaid and what else costs more money on the App Store than real navigation... So I don't have anything to spend on. But now that I've bought an Apple TV for the home, things will probably shake out over time, it's a terrible thing.
Sorry - Dynavix, those letters are a little apart! :O)
I would make the file with /CZ/US/ those letters next to the company name, I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't written it a post below ;)
Hey, I registered this "typo" of mine again, but I didn't want to correct myself here. I probably had a reduced attention span from being entertained by my colleague SteveJSF's contribution :-)
what do you think is better than navigation?
If you want to know some more information about Dynavix (real experiences, mistakes, statements of the manufacturer, his other plans...), then here - http://forum.iphone.cz/viewtopic.php?f=119&t=41469
Sir, I also want to buy the app from the US store, is there any way to get it there? Thank you
Here is our guide http://jablickar.cz/jak-nakupovat-v-americkem-itunes/
Well, this will really help him :-( Since it's not on the US AppStore right now, it's a piece of advice, unfortunately. And if you looked at my link, there's also a statement from the manufacturer, I quote:
Availability of the app in the US App Store
As soon as we release the new version that I write about above (note, within about four weeks), we want to place Dynavix on all Appstores that exist. Regarding placing the current version on the US Appstore, we are a little worried that we will not run into an approval problem with Apple (so far we have gone through quite smoothly), according to some sources, the approval procedures for Europe and for example the US may be different. In the worst case, we will solve the problem with a new version within a month.
Can someone tell me how to disable this app? She did not find the address in Přerov exactly for me. However, even after getting out of the car, if I have not reached the destination according to the navigation, the application continues. Liška sometimes throws something, I see a directional arrow on the toolbar and most of all it eats up the battery. But there is no option to turn it off in the navigation menu. After turning off the phone, the navigation did not start again, I judge from the fact that the direction arrow disappeared from the toolbar
iPhone 3GS, Dynavix Czech Rep.
Thanks in advance for the advice.
