The popular film saga Star Wars will be made available for digital download for the first time in history. All six episodes, including never-before-seen bonuses, will arrive on iTunes and other stores on Friday, with individual films available for pre-order now.

Disney, Lucasfilm and 20th Century Fox at the same time they announced, that every movie from the first episode of The Phantom Menace to the last one called Return of the Jedi will contain bonus material. "We are thrilled that fans will be able to enjoy the Star Wars franchise on their digital devices anywhere," said Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy.

"These films marked a breakthrough in technology, design, sound and visual effects, and we've created several special bonus materials that delve into the series' rich history, including new and never-before-seen interviews between legendary Star Wars artists," Kennedy revealed.

Each episode can be pre-ordered in iTunes for 14 euros (390 crowns), a cheaper package of all six films should also be available. Amazon the complete Star Wars series Offers for 90 dollars.
