Apple continues to improve its Maps, which integrates data from the Parkopedia parking application. Users will thus be able to search for ideal parking spaces directly in Apple Maps, including useful data.

Parkopedia which has its own app in the App Store, is a stable player in this specific application segment. It offers users over 40 million parking spaces across 75 countries, including the Czech Republic. The close cooperation with the Californian technology giant, which started in the United States already in March, now allows for an even more convenient search for detailed information for each driver within the native Maps.

Now, when you're navigating Apple Maps and want to find a place to park, just search for "parking" and the app will immediately show you all the parking spaces available in Parkopedia. After all, you can also verify on the website. In addition to the distance, time required and, of course, the address, it also shows the type of parking (covered, uncovered), opening hours or information on whether the place is also suitable for motorcycles or disabled people.

In the course of time, there should also be no lack of the number of spaces (both total, vacant or occupied) or an indication of how much the person concerned will be forced to pay and whether it is the cheapest possible place where he could park. These functions are current in some countries, but not yet in the Czech Republic. However, the company's management has hinted that it will gradually add these attributes.

You can then move directly from Apple Map to Parkopedia itself, where the driver can learn additional information.

For Czech users, the most important news is that Parkopedia actually maps domestic parking lots as well. Therefore, we will also use the integration in Maps here, and we can only hope that the database will continue to be improved (with more detailed information about parking lots) and expanded (with additional parking spaces).
