There is no limit to originality in the gaming industry. Even the least interesting of the uninteresting genres can blossom into the game of the year under the hands of creative developers. However, we cannot count currently very popular roguelikes into uninteresting genres. The form of the game, in which each death means a path to the beginning of the next passage, is chosen by many independent game studios. However, few are as original as the developers at Konfa Games. They base their entire marketing of their new product Despot's Game on strangeness and strangeness.

Despot's Game sews the roguelike form onto another popular genre, auto-battlers. The genre, which is difficult to translate into Czech, experienced the highest wave of popularity together with Auto Chess and a sea of its clones. A genre that usually focuses primarily on multiplayer, however, Despot's Game puts it into single-player adventures where you have to adapt your team of fighters to an ever-changing lineup of enemies. And your fighters are not seasoned warriors, but scared to death naked people who fight for their lives with the help of found ninja starfish or defend themselves with the help of rusted refrigerators.

If you manage to make your way through the vast dungeon with your strange squad, you'll be in for a surprise at the end. Indeed, Despot's Game does not completely retreat from the participation of other players. At the end of each successful passage, you will have to fight with the team of the next successful player. Despot's Game is in early access, but even now it offers a huge amount of freedom and a lot of variations to successfully play through the game.
