There has been speculation for some time that Apple would release Powerbeats4 headphones with "Hey, Siri" support. Today, the company actually received approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The aforementioned approval applies to wireless headphones with the model designation A2015, which are described as "Power Beats Wireless" in the relevant documents. So, most likely, these are really the headphones, the existence of which was confirmed by images in the iOS 13.3.1 operating system last month.

The Powerbeats4 should represent an improved version of the Powerbeats3 wireless headphones with Apple's H1 chip, support for voice commands and the ability to announce messages with the voice assistant Siri. The latter feature should ensure users that Siri reads an incoming message aloud to them. The function can be used when the headphones are connected to the iPhone or iPad, and when the device is locked.

The Powerbeats3 headphones are connected by a cable:

For example, the completely wireless headphones Powerbeats Pro offer support for the "Hey, Siri" function. Unlike them, the Powerbeats4 headphones will most likely be connected by a cable between the left and right earcups - much like the Powerbeats3. The introduction of the Powerbeats4 headphones is therefore only a matter of time - it is possible that Apple will introduce them quietly and only accompany the launch with a press release, but there is also a possibility that the Powerbeats4 headphones will be introduced at this spring's Keynote. It should take place at the end of March.
