New photos of the alleged iPhone 5's chassis and buttons have surfaced online today, hinting at a fourth color for the upcoming iPhone 5S. It is already assumed that it will be added to the portfolio the third color is champagne, which is supposed to disrupt the existing pair of black and white, which has been on the market since the iPhone 3G.

The fourth color is supposed to be graphite reminiscent of steel, so it could look nice next to Apple's aluminum products, although the shade is closer to MacBooks and iMacs than the white version. Server SonnyDickson.com, who posted the photos, believes that we will see four color variations on September 10, i.e. white, black, champagne and graphite. However, Allyson Kazmucha, editor, has a different opinion iMore.

According to her, it could be a change to the black version or a possible experiment. The black anodization on the iPhone 5 proved to be quite problematic during production, so Apple may be looking for an alternative color that would simplify the manufacturing process. On the other hand, the black version is very popular and it would not be a good tactic to replace the popular color with another one. We will probably see how it turns out in two weeks, until then we can only speculate.

It should also be remembered that we could see the color combination of graphite color with black accents already last year before the launch of the iPhone 5.
