Tomorrow at five o'clock in the afternoon, Apple's first keynote of the year will take place. However, the upcoming event will deviate from the established order, as it will take place on the campus of an American high school and, above all, Apple will not broadcast any live broadcast from it. We will get all the information about the news either in the form of press releases or indirectly through those who will visit tomorrow's event. We tell you how the preparations for the conference look like they showed already this morning. Now, let's take a quick look at what Apple could introduce and what we could expect tomorrow.

We'll start with the most likely novelties, and in this case, the AirPower charging pad has to come first. It first saw the light of day at last year's keynote, during which Tim Cook et al. introduced the new iPhones. At the time, all that was said was that this special wireless charging pad, which can charge multiple devices at once, would arrive sometime early this year. AirPower should be able to charge up to three devices at once, should have a combined charging power of 15W and should cost around $150.

In connection with AirPower, there was also talk about an updated generation of wireless AirPods. Apple already lured those last year, and we should wait for a new charging box that will support wireless charging. It is not yet clear whether it will be only this change, or whether the hardware inside the headphones will also receive an update (it was speculated about the implementation of a more modern W2 chip, the reduction of internal components and the increase of batteries). AirPods with wireless charging support would be a great complement to AirPower, so a joint presentation would be logical.

In the last few days, there has been rather vehement talk that Apple will introduce a new color for the iPhone X. It would not be the first time that the iPhone has seen an expansion of its range of color variants around the middle of its life cycle. In this case, it should be some form of golden shade, from which Apple is expected to re-increase interest in their flagship and increase declining sales.

Due to the thematic anchoring of the entire event, which mainly concerns school and teaching, there is talk of a new iPad. Personally, I think it's quite early for a new (classic) iPad, but let's be surprised. In recent months, Apple has been trying to present its iPads as ideal school tools, so it will be very interesting to see what they come up with in this direction. It is speculated that the cheaper iPad, often referred to as the ePad, should also receive support for the Apple Pencil. However, nothing concrete is known yet.

Many fans also hope that Apple will introduce a new, cheaper and student-oriented MacBook tomorrow, which should be a replacement for the old Air. In the case of the new Macs, however, it is more likely that Apple will choose the WWDC conference in June, which is focused on software, for their premiere. It would also make more sense, as there would be performances at the beginning of the holidays and sales would begin before the start of the new school year. We will find out how it will turn out in less than 24 hours.
