So we already know that we did not receive them during March. Apple thus prolongs the wait for its new tablets, and it practically does not matter which series. Last year, we didn't get a single model, so many customers are certainly waiting to buy. But Apple doesn't have to rush.

Those who are waiting will either buy what is available or wait for some time. There's not much going on among tablets in general, and that's true in the Android world as well. Samsung is trying here, but it is not bringing anything new. It actually just beats and speeds up the chips. He brought this essential back in 2022, when he showed the Galaxy Tab S8 series, from which last year's nines are based. Then, of course, there are even cheaper and even cheaper devices. Samsung released 7 tablet models last year, so they have to grade them in terms of price and performance.

Apple didn't bring a single model to the market because either it didn't have anything to impress, or it didn't make sense to try to somehow hold on to a declining market. But this year the situation may be different. Here we have three options when new tablets are offered to be launched on the market, when the last date is also the best.

Duben

Apple can only make a short Keynote, such as the one last fall for the MacBook Pro, or present iPad news only in the form of printed materials. We have some leaks about what to look forward to, and we know that there won't be much, so the second option would make more sense.

June

On June 10, Apple has scheduled an opening Keynote for the WWDC conference. Since iPadOS 18 with artificial intelligence capabilities will also be shown here, it would certainly be nice to present it on the new iPads as well. But it alludes to the fact that these iPads won't have iPadOS 18 yet and won't get it until September, which can be misleading and confusing.

September

The most ideal solution is to present iPadOS 18 in June and new iPads, ideally with a complete portfolio, in the fall with the release of the new system. It would certainly deserve a separate Keynote if we were to see the rejuvenation of the complete portfolio. Apple could also say here for individual models who will have what form of AI, if it is gradating it.

And since it is said that he who waits, he will see, the last option turns out to be the only ideal one. But it also means that it will still be a long wait and it depends on whether Apple in particular can afford it at all.
