Jan Zdarsa Carcassonne is a tabletop board game of a modern type, which was developed with the aim not only to entertain, but also to develop tactical and strategic skills, analytical thinking and imagination. Since its launch in 2001, it has sold a million units and has been loved by thousands of children and adults. Now coming to iPhone and iPad screens.
Carcassonne is a board game based on the gradual placing of individual cards. This creates a landscape with roads, cities, monasteries and meadows, which the players occupy with their figures. The game won the Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year) and Deutscher Spiele Preis (German Public Game) polls in 2001. Three people are working on the iPhone and iPad version, who not only have great experience in software development and board games, but Carcassonne for iPhone is being prepared in close cooperation with the publisher of this great game.
This digital version supports up to 5 players at once. You can add 4 computer-controlled opponents, but there is also perfect online multiplayer with push notification support. Of course, there is also the possibility of playing with friends in the same room, where you can gradually pass the iPad to each other depending on whose turn it is.
But you can also play the unique Solitaire mode. You start with 1000 points and gradually as you add cards, the points are subtracted. During the game you will have to complete various tasks - in addition, you will be rewarded or penalized according to different rules. I won't go into more detail about this mod, but I promise you a lot of fun!
The creators have taken care of the user environment, which not only looks great, but is also great to control. If you like Carcassonne, then don't hesitate for a minute, this version really succeeded. If you hurry, you will pay only €3,79 for Carcassonne. For now, only the iPhone version has been released, but the iPad application will not be released separately - if you pay once for the iPhone version, you will also get the iPad version for free. But when the iPad version comes out, Carcassonne will cost twice as much.

Really great conversion boards for iPhone. Much better than the settlers. It's just a shame that some things are scored a little differently than in the board version (it affects the strategy a lot). E.g. 4 points for small cities, cities on multiple meadows are scored twice even for the same player. I hope they fix this in some update, otherwise it's seriously worth the money!
Perfect game.. I would just appreciate it if some more parts were added in future updates.. or. rivers…
