The project of colonizing other planets is an attractive business, and this is doubly true for Mars. The Red Planet has captured humanity's collective imagination ever since we discovered that it is not just a star, but a world similar to our own. It is not surprising that even game developers flock to mediate various simulations of conquering the surface of another planet. One of the most complex such projects is Surviving Mars from seasoned strategists from Paradox Interactive.

Almost four years ago, under the umbrella of Paradox, a strategy was released from developers from the Haemimont Games and Abstraction studios. At the same time, Surviving Mars represents a representative of the genre of building strategies, with the only difference that you will build your gradually developing city (colony) on the surface of another planet, which brings with it a number of unique obstacles. After choosing your home space agency, you will receive a number of resources and finances that will allow you to gradually grow a small colony into a completely self-sufficient town, which will support the technologies you gradually invent.

And as is customary with games released under Paradox Interactive, Surviving Mars also received a number of different accessories. In addition to the basic construction of colonies, you can also try exploring the Martian underground, a space race with a competing space agency, or roll up your sleeves and instead of locking the colonists in glass domes, terraform the whole of Mars.
