Jan Zdarsa A frequent criticism of iPhone users is directed towards photos taken from this toy. In the summer, we will probably see a new generation iPhone with a better camera, but current users may also see an improvement - all it takes is a newer firmware.
On the iPhones.ru server, they did a series of tests where they photographed the same scene at one point using two iPhones. One had firmware 2.2.1 in it and the other was running the latest beta version of firmware 3.0. And the result was not bad at all, which you can judge from the photo of the cat.
Later, more photos appeared. You can see from them that there is really something to it and the new software really adds a lot to the quality of the photos. Above all, they noticed it in the night scenery, which you can judge for yourself.
Every user would definitely like the improvement and although here already several solutions for better photo quality taken with an iPhone, so I would certainly welcome a solution from Apple. Although until the iPhone has autofocus, it still won't be enough for me.

I would do the test one more time, but with cleaned optics on both iPhones...
