We are only a few weeks away from probably the most anticipated event of the year. Of course, we are talking about the introduction of the new iPhone 13 series, which should take place already in September, when Apple will reveal four new models with great news. So it's no wonder that now all sorts of leaks, speculations and theories are literally piling up. Fresh information is now brought by the respected journalist and analyst Mark Gurman from the Bloomberg portal, according to which the apple company is going to bring new possibilities to the field of photography and video recording.

So the iPhone 13 (Pro) could specifically handle video recording in portrait mode, which is currently only available for photos. It appeared for the very first time in the case of the iPhone 7 Plus, when it can relatively faithfully separate the main subject/object from the rest of the scene, which it blurs and thus creates an effect called bokeh. Theoretically, we will also see the same possibility for videos. At the same time, together with the iOS 15 system, portrait mode will also arrive in FaceTime video calls. But it doesn't end here. Videos will still be able to be recorded in ProRes format, which will make it possible to record videos in significantly higher quality. At the same time, users will get additional options for editing. In any case, Gurman adds that ProRes for video could only be available for more expensive models with the Pro designation.

Gurman continued to reconfirm the arrival of a more powerful A15 chip, a smaller top notch and a new display technology that will increase the refresh rate to the long-awaited 120 Hz (probably only on Pro models). The iPhone 13 Pro (Max) could even offer an always-on display. In the field of refresh rate and always-on, apple phones lose considerably to their competition, and therefore it seems logical to finally implement these options.
