Auction portal Aukro enters the iPhone platform with its mobile application. You can now view auctions and bid on the go from your iPhone screen.
The Aukro iPhone application enables mobile access to the largest internet auction portal in the Czech Republic. In the application, you can search for specific items, view the offer by category or view the items you have purchased, sold or tracked. There is also information about the product, the seller or access to the photo gallery of the given item.
Now you can bid anytime on the go. So that no one abuses the Aukro application on your phone, it is possible to set a PIN code on it, which I think is a great feature. The Aukro app is completely free on the App Store and I can fully recommend it.
Notes from Tomáš Pučík: The search has several setting options (see image) and I also found it very pleasant to work in the categories. I only had a problem with the "my aukro" function, during which the application crashed several times. Another problem is definitely that I came across an error message in Polish during the search (the owner of aukra is from Poland), which is certainly not pleasing. The last defect that I would definitely point out with this application is the necessity of logging in every time the application is started. You can save your password, but you have to log in again every time.

No offense, but did the reviewer test the app properly before giving 4,5/5? For example, after clicking on the description of the subject, we get to a rather strangely formatted page, which can only be read properly zoomed in, and there is no line wrapping. The app can't log in by itself either, and I'm not even talking about the UI. In addition, bidding itself doesn't seem to work very well (according to the reactions on the Appstore, I haven't tried it myself). The developers should still work on the app, for example a push in case someone outbids our offer would come in handy.
Mike: they have the automatic non-login on purpose, because it is part of their "feature", because they want to allow more people to log in to this application. There could be an option to turn it off and log in the last logged in person, but it needs to be added to the user's satisfaction later..
as for the description, that's difficult, when it's just always an HTML page and if they extract the text from it, some auctions will break so much that the description will be completely useless.. I recommend that you put your mobile on a match when the description is displayed.. eBay the application has been on the market for much longer and it has not been resolved much better..
Bidding worked for me, I didn't have the slightest problem..
I don't think the UI is bad, deleting items from the watched works by helping to slide, in short, I use the iPhone's functions well... there are some minor errors, but it's version 1.0...
I am not entirely sure whether the development of this application made sense when aukro has its own mobile interface m.aukro.cz, and the number of aukro users with an iPhone hardly exceeds 2-3% of 1
I think that Aukro.cz wants to keep up with the times, but I think the traffic (let alone the bids) will be small from the iPhone...
Although it is an iPad NON-NATIVE application, but it crashed randomly in emulation mode, so deleted...
Heavily criticized on the AppStore because of a bunch of bugs…
Does anyone happen to know if SK veriza is also coming?
Thanks to the great article, I tried Aukro on the iPhone and I have to say that after a few minutes of training, everything works as it should :)
