The App Store got its first major overhaul last fall. Apple completely changed it in terms of design, redesigned the bookmark system, the menu system and adjusted individual sections. Some favorites have completely disappeared (like popular Free App of the Day) others, on the other hand, appeared (for example, the column Today). The new App Store also features redesigned tabs for individual apps and a greater emphasis on user feedback and reviews. The only thing that Apple did not touch within the App Store was its version for the classic web interface. And this rest is already a thing of the past, because the web App Store has a completely new design, which draws from the iOS version.

If you now open an application in the web interface of the App Store, you will be greeted by an almost identical website design that you are used to from your iPhones or iPads. This is a huge leap forward, as the previous version of the graphics layout was very outdated and inefficient. In the current version, everything important is immediately visible, whether it is a description of the application, its rating, images or other important information, such as the date of the last update, size, etc.

The web interface now provides images for all available app versions. If you open the application, which is available for both iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, you have all previews available from all devices. The only thing currently missing from the web interface is the ability to purchase apps. You still need to use the store on your device for this purpose.
