If you own an iPhone charger from October 2009 to September 2012, whether it came with the phone or purchased separately, you're eligible for a replacement. Apple launched a few days ago exchange programme, where it replaces potentially defective chargers for free. This is a model labeled A1300 that is at risk of overheating while charging.
The model was exclusively intended for the European market with a European terminal and was included in the packaging of the iPhone 3GS, 4 and 4S. In 2012, it was replaced by the A1400 model, which at first glance is identical, but there is no risk of overheating. Apple will thus replace all original A1300 chargers throughout Europe, including the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The exchange can be arranged at authorized services. If there is none available in the immediate vicinity, it is possible to arrange an exchange directly with the Czech branch of Apple. You can find the nearest exchange point at to this address.
You can recognize the charger model A1300 in two ways. First, by the very designation of the model in the upper right of the front part of the charger (with a fork), and secondly by the large letters CE, which, unlike the later model, are filled out. For Apple, this is not exactly a small action, there are several million of these potentially risky chargers among customers, but safety is more important to Apple than the loss that it will suffer thanks to the free exchange of old chargers for new ones.
Does anyone have personal experience with the exchange? Or where and how did it take place? Thanks
hello, I was in Karviná in Vodafone on 16.6.2014/XNUMX/XNUMX, he doesn't know anything about it, I didn't buy anything.

People read!!! This is an Apple event, and yes, go to Vodafone, O2 or premium resellers to exchange it for you...oh my god...Apple does not exist in the Czech Republic only in the form of one office, contact VSP Data in Sezimov ústí or Britex in Kladno, these are certified services you just need to use your brain, eyes and internet for apple.
Howgh
Yes, we can read, and it is stated on the Internet that from June 18th it is also possible to exchange at the operator's stores.
you are a good baby come on, don't think about it and study something about it... apple states that the operators will cooperate on the exchange. oh my god :-D
His God. Britex is not an official Apple service, but ONLY provides service for operators. They will tell you this directly on Apple's customer line! Just use your brain, pick up the phone and ask ;)
Will they also replace the torn cable for me, or is it just an adapter replacement?
adapter
I read that the serial number of the iPhone will also be checked... Which of course I haven't had for a long time... Is it really so?
Settings>general>info>serial number :)
He probably doesn't have the iPhone
today I was in the iStore (formerly iTouch) .. they wanted some document from me so they could pair it, saying that if I bought it from the operator I should go there. But because I bought something from them in the past, an invoice containing the adapter was pulled out and it was simply written on it... apparently it is a condition for them to send it
personally, I don't really understand it, if the A1300 series is being replaced, does it really matter where it's from? in addition, when someone has more than one device at home, sometimes someone takes what they have at hand or something gets thrown around and then prove which one is which :)
