Apple has started selling a magnetic charging station, the first official accessory of its kind for the Apple Watch. Thanks to it, it will be easier to charge the Apple Watch.
First news about the upcoming product they came yesterday from Germany and it is in Apple Stores there (for example in Berlin) that magnetic docks are already being sold, although they will officially arrive in brick-and-mortar stores only on November 20. The charging station can be ordered online now.
The first official charging dock for the Watch is round and has a magnetic puck in the middle that charges the Watch when you touch it, and it can also be pulled out and used in the Watch dock in night mode. The station must be connected to the Lightning network with a connector.
In Germany, where the Czechs can also drive the closest, the novelty will cost 89 euros, i.e. 2 crowns. Until now, Apple has only offered third-party charging stations in its stores.

2400 CZK? I have an Apple Watch, but that doesn't mean I'm going to waste money on a piece of round plastic... they've gone completely crazy.
Basically, it also includes a charger (cable with AW terminal) and just the cable itself costs €35 as a replacement. But it's still a lot and I don't like it. You can buy nicer and more space-saving ones for half the price without the cable.
A lot of people think the price is ok, maybe they could raise it
don't you realize that some apple fan boy is completely beside himself when at the apple keynote or whatever you call it, they present how much they have extorted from the customer... and of course the bigger the margin, the bigger the profit
Why wouldn't anyone think that even the cable for a liter is defensible, because at least according to my experience, I had about 4 cables for Apple, and they were all destroyed (well, now I have the last one and I'd rather not mess with it too much, somehow I'll finish it of a new phone ;) ... even with an ordinary USB to Android (and fotaku, kindle and similar devices), I didn't destroy even one of them.... don't tell me that apple didn't design it on purpose in such a cretinous way... when any OEM cable manufacturer can make a better almost indestructible one for 2 dollars.... I'm surprised that in Fallout 4 there aren't USB cables lying everywhere in those ruins... at least in our office we have about 3 of them per person :D, just go with everything and really just don't worry....hm :]
Nevermind
considering the price of the charging cable itself, it's not that much of a difference.. they should think about the price of the cable itself, because it's just a load.. but if you consider that you want 999,- for a piece of tpu, then there's nothing to be surprised about
Since it costs so much money, I expected that the change of position for charging in night mode and back would work through some sort of extension mechanism (perhaps with a spring) so that it is only necessary to press to eject. The fact that I have to push it from Škoda is a big ➖
In terms of design, it is again a classic bomb, Apple just has it in a pinch. I don't have AW, so I can't judge the functionality, but I think the price is expected. When I take the cost of an iPhone dock and add to the fact that AWs are even more expensive than other devices in the Apple portfolio for people who "don't know what to do with money", they are not surprised at 2400 CZK.
