The first Apple Watch customers will arrive tomorrow, so Apple has now also launched an app store for its watch. Once customers get their hands on the Watch on Friday, April 24, over three thousand apps should be available in the App Store, according to the Californian company.

For comparison, when the App Store for iPhone launched in 2008, it launched with 500 native apps. Over 3 applications made specifically for the needs of the new watch will be ready for the Apple Watch on the first day, and we can expect this number to grow rapidly in the following days.

On the other hand, it should also be noted that thousands of Watch apps have been developed without the developers being able to actually test them. Apple only a handful of selected companies allowed entrance to the laboratories, where they could try applications on the Watch. Therefore, the question is how well the developers managed to guess how the best application will be used on the wrist.

The App Store for the Watch, which can be found in a special application for pairing the iPhone with the watch, should launch for all users in the next few hours. Those who ordered the Apple Watch first are already receiving notifications from Apple that the Watch will actually arrive on the first official day of sale. But some models will arrive later.

You can immediately distinguish the App Store with applications for watches from the classic one, everywhere there are round icons, which are also found on the watch display. In the App Store for iPhone, Apple now indicates if an app also has a Watch version.

All apps that Apple approves for the Watch are registered by the site for now WatchAware, where you can scroll through applications. At the moment, according to WatchAware, 2251 apps have been approved, with hundreds more expected to be added by tomorrow.
