Apple released a brand new developer beta for iOS 11.2 last night. As it seems, the previous version 11.1 is already ready and could arrive this Friday, as has been speculated for a long time, mainly to coincide with the start of sales of the iPhone X. Apple has thus moved on and work on the new version is in full swing. So let's see what's new in iOS 11.2 beta 1. As always, the beta is full of small tweaks and tweaks that make the system work better. In addition, however, inside there are also news that we have been waiting for a long time.

In the new beta, we can find, for example, modified icons of some applications in the Control Center, a new highlighting effect works in the App Store in the list of popular applications, and Apple managed to fix an animation error in the system calculator, due to which it did not work as it should (see this article) and the notification settings for Apple TV are also new.

Compared to the previous version (which in this case is the not yet officially released iOS 11.1), some emoticons are also changed. It is mainly about the design, which is modernized in some cases. Also new are the animations that appear when Live Photos are loaded. The wallpapers that are the default in the new iPhone 8 and iPhone X are now also available for older devices. Another small thing is the change of the camera icon in messages. In the Control Center, you can now find the Air Play 2 system that Apple presented at this year's WWDC conference, which allows you to play different music files on several devices. Most likely, this is preparation for the arrival of the Home Pod smart speaker.

In the new beta, new commands are also made available for SiriKit that relate to communication with Home Pod. App developers can thus prepare for the arrival of this speaker, which should appear on the market sometime in December.
