The new macOS 10.14.6 brings fixes for several major bugs. tvOS 12.4 was also released

Alongside iOS 12.4 a Watch 5.3 the new macOS Mojave 10.14.6 was released today for regular users, which focuses on fixing several major bugs. Along with it, Apple also released tvOS 12.4.

The new macOS Mojave 10.14.6 can be found in System preferences -> Software update. To upgrade to a newer version, you need to download an installation package of approximately 2,6 GB (varies by Mac model). The update is available for owners of compatible Macs, which include models that support macOS Mojave.

macOS Mojave 10.14.6 update improves Mac stability and reliability and is recommended for all users. It is by no means rich in news – it brings only a few changes to Apple News, which are not available in the Czech Republic or Slovakia. In the case of our markets, we can only look forward to the correction of a few errors that plagued the system. For example, Apple fixed a bug related to Boot Camp on Macs with Fusion Drives. This update:

Addresses an issue that prevented the creation of new Boot Camp partitions on iMacs and Mac minis with Fusion Drives
Fixes problems that could cause the system to freeze on reboot
Fixes graphics issues that may have occurred when waking from sleep
Fixes a bug that could cause the image to go black when playing full-screen video on Mac mini computers
Increases the reliability of file sharing over SMB

tvOS 12.4 for Apple TV

Along with the new version of macOS Mojave, tvOS 12.4 was also released today. In that case, the update can be found on Apple TV v Settings -> System -> updates software –> Update software. The new tvOS 12.4 is available for Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD. Today, a new version of the software was released for the third generation Apple TV with the designation 7.3.1.

The update likely only brings bug fixes, but given the fact that Apple doesn't provide any update notes for tvOS, that's just a guess. If there is any news in the system, we will inform you through an article.
