Like Apple recently promised, so he did. A new version of the iTunes U educational app hit the App Store this week, bringing some important news and improvements to the iPad. These are intended to enable better communication between teachers and pupils and students, as well as facilitate work with online courses.

iTunes U in version 2.0 allows you to create courses directly on the iPad by importing content from the iWork office suite, iBooks Author or other educational applications available in the App Store. In addition, it is possible to insert images and videos taken by the camera of the iOS device into the teaching materials. Another novelty for teachers is the possibility to monitor the work progress of their pupils online.

In addition, the possibility of discussion between the teacher and students and between students has also been added. It is possible to actively participate in any discussion and let the application notify you when a new topic or post is added to the discussion.

iTunes U can be downloaded for free from the App Store to all iPhones and iPads with iOS 7 and higher.
