As expected, Apple has released beta updates for its upcoming iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 Yosemite operating systems two weeks after releasing the first developer-only versions. Both beta versions of the operating systems were full of bugs, to an unusual extent, according to people who tested them. Beta 2 for iOS and Developer Preview 2 for OS X should bring fixes to a lot of them.

The news in iOS 8 beta 2 is not yet known, Apple has only published a list of fixed known bugs published by, for example, the server 9to5Mac. Those who already have the first beta version installed can update via the menu in Settings (General > Software Update). If the update does not appear, you need to restart the phone first.

As for OS X 10.10 Developer Preview 2, the obvious new thing is the addition of an app Phone Booth, which was missing in the first beta version. Likewise, the update includes a number of bug fixes. The second beta version of OS X 10.10 can be downloaded in the Mac App Store from the update menu. In no case do we recommend installing beta versions on your work device, not only because of bugs and worse battery life, but also because of app incompatibilities.

We will inform you about the news in both new beta versions that will appear in the near future in a separate article.
