Apple tonight released a supplemental update for macOS Mojave 10.14.6, which it originally made available earlier last week. The update fixes a bug related to waking Mac from sleep.

Already the original macOS 10.14.6 fixed graphics problems that could occur when waking the Mac from sleep. Apple and macOS seem to often struggle in this area, as a new supplemental update fixes an issue that may have prevented Macs from properly waking from sleep.

The update is available in System preferences -> Software update. To upgrade to a newer version, you need to download an installation package of approximately 950 MB.

Original macOS Mojave 10.14.6 came out on Monday, July 22. Basically, it was a minor update, which mainly brought only fixes for a few specific bugs. Except for the one mentioned above, Apple managed to remove the bug, for example, which was causing the image to go black when playing a full-screen video on the Mac mini. Problems that could cause the system to freeze on restart were also supposed to be fixed. Along with the update, several changes for Apple News also arrived on Macs, but they are not available in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

So although Apple tries to fix all kinds of bugs within its systems, there are still a few that remain. The most frequent complaint from users falls on the address of the malfunctioning Mail application, specifically the frequent error rate of synchronization with Gmail, which has plagued Mac owners for several weeks, if not months. Apple has already tried to fix the mentioned problem once, but it seems that it was unsuccessful.
