This is not the first Android application for Apple, this year it has already introduced two more - Move to iOS facilitating the transition from Android to iOS and Beats Pill + to control the wireless speaker.
Up until now, the music streaming service Apple Music could be used on iPhones, iPads, Watch, Mac computers and via iTunes also on Windows. It will now run on Android mobile devices, whose owners will get access to an extensive music catalog including hand-picked music recommendations, Beats Music radio or the Connect network for a monthly subscription.
Apple Music will also become a logical successor to Beats Music on Android, from where you can easily transfer your libraries and playlists. At the same time, everything will be connected to Apple ID, so if you already use Apple Music somewhere, you will find your catalog on Android after logging in.
Also on Android, users will be able to take advantage of a three-month free trial period before deciding whether they want to pay for Apple Music. The monthly subscription will cost the same as elsewhere, i.e. six euros. At least Android 4.3 will be needed, while the app is currently running as a beta. That's why users won't find music videos on Android yet or the option to sign up for a family plan, where you can use the service on up to five accounts at a cheaper price.
Otherwise, however, Apple Music tries to be as native an Android application as possible.
