Galaxy AI is Samsung's new name for its artificial intelligence. But this artificial intelligence is greatly improved by Google tools. In fact, during the presentation of the new Galaxy S24 series, Samsung even invited Google employees to the stage to talk about features like Circle to Search, improvements to messages and more, which are also headed from Samsung to the Pixel 8 series. , like the Gemini Nano, which will bring Google's AI features to even more Android phones in the near future.

Apple is the number one competitor. If Samsung fights it alone, it will almost certainly lose. Google has its Pixels, but their sales are small and it needs someone to show the possibilities of Android. And who else should it be than the largest seller of devices with this system, albeit to a certain extent with its One UI superstructure. Two is more than one, and two has more of a chance of beating that one. In the final, however, it doesn't have to stop there, it's quite possible that in a while it will be only Apple against the rest of the world.

There's no doubt that the AI capabilities in the new Galaxy S24 series make these phones stand out. In fact, it's just the latest result of an ever-deepening collaboration. In recent months, we've seen Samsung jump on Google's RCS messaging campaign to loosen iMessage's stranglehold on the US market in particular. Already this year, Google has also merged its own Nearby Share feature with Samsung's Quick Share, and we regularly hear about an XR headset that Samsung, Google and Qualcomm are supposed to be working on to take on Apple's Vision Pro.

If we look even further, Samsung also collaborated with Google on Wear OS 4, the system that powers smart watches communicating with Android smartphones. Then there was also Android 12L intended for large screens (tablets and jigsaw puzzles, mainly Samsung). There is no doubt that Google and Samsung are on the cutting edge when it comes to artificial intelligence and foldable devices. Apple doesn't have either of those, but what it doesn't, may soon be, and both could be in significant trouble, which they'll get themselves into mostly by wanting to play themselves. There is strength in their cooperation, and it also helps Apple to improve, because the competition is not small. The year 2024 can therefore be decisive in many respects, when it will be interesting to see if Apple maintains the number one position and how it will turn out with its own AI.
