Apple Stories aren't what they used to be. Angela Ahrendts faces criticism after her departure from Apple

The former head of retail at Apple, Angela Ahrendts, gave an interview to the agency last week Bloomberg. In the interview, she talked mainly about the time she spent at Apple. As one of the reasons she started working for the Cupertino company, Ahrendts cited the opportunity to take Apple's brick-and-mortar stores to another level and positively impact the local community. She also mentioned the Today at Apple program, which was created under her leadership, and which, in her own words, was supposed to teach the current generation new skills.

In an interview, Angela Ahrendts called the redesign of Apple Stores around the world one of her main achievements during her tenure at Apple. She said that her team has successfully changed the look of the stores and that users can look forward to more flagships among the Apple Story in the next four years.

She also noted that Apple retail stores are no longer just stores, but community gathering places. In turn, she identified the extensive cultural and educational program Today at Apple as an opportunity to create a new concept of employee roles and positions, not only for individuals, but for entire teams. Thanks to Today at Apple, a completely new space was created in the stores, intended not only for education.

But the interview also touched on the criticism that Ahrendts had to face in part because of the changes she introduced in Apple's retail store chains. But she herself, according to her own words, does not pay any attention to them. "I don't read any of this, and none of it is based on truth," she declared, adding that many people simply crave scandalous stories.

As evidence, she cited statistics from the time she left - according to which, at the time, customer retention was at an all-time high and loyalty scores were at an all-time high. Angela stated that there is nothing she regrets during her tenure and that a lot has been accomplished in five years.

The former head of retail described her mission at Apple as successfully accomplished, as she managed to achieve all the set goals.
