Meeting of Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš and Apple CEO Tim Cook from January was really beneficial in the end. Apple announced today that it has started preparations for the construction of an Apple Store in Prague. The shop with the giant bitten apple logo will be located on the Old Town Square. The grand opening will take place at the end of June.

"Prague, as the heart of Europe, is the perfect place for the construction of an Apple Store. We want to bring our products and services closer not only to customers from the Czech Republic, but also from Poland and Slovakia. The new store will be an important corridor for a large part of our fans from Europe and therefore will also be one of the most modern ever." says Apple.

The coordination team that Tim Cook created right after the meeting with the Prime Minister found our metropolis to be the ideal place for the construction of the Apple Store. Prague is a very attractive location, which is visited annually by around 8 million tourists. This is also why the Californian company decided to build a new store directly on the Old Town Square, specifically in the place where the Ministry for Regional Development is currently located.

The Apple Store will be launched this month. According to the statement, the company should demolish the entire building and replace it with a modern store in the shape of a giant HomePod.

Inside, we should then expect a professional service center, where trained technicians will remove crumbs and other impurities from stuck MacBook keyboards. Customers will also have the opportunity to teach Siri Czech in the store, and even Slovak if our neighbors are interested. There will also be various programs in which interested parties will be able to participate in a march through Prague for the support of eSIM, i.e. LTE in the Apple Watch by domestic operators.

The grand opening of the Apple Store will take place at the end of June, specifically on June 31. That's three months from today, April 6. At the same time, allow us to wish you a Happy April Fool's Day. And we promise that this article is the only April Fool's one for today. :-)
