Do you shoot on an iPhone? And would you like your photo to be on one of Apple's next billboards? You are now a little closer to your goal. Apple has once again started inviting photographers around the world to submit their photos for its next Shot on iPhone marketing campaign.

One of the main features of some of Apple's ads are stunning photos and videos taken by the users themselves. With their authenticity, these images best demonstrate the capabilities of Apple's smartphone cameras. The first wave of the Shot on iPhone campaign saw the light of day in 2015, when the revolutionary iPhone 6 with a completely new design and new camera options was put on sale. At the time, Apple hunted photos with the appropriate hashtag on Instagram and Twitter - the best ones then found their way onto billboards and into the press. In turn, the videos that users shot on their iPhone made it onto YouTube and into TV commercials.

Apple is not going to miss its Shot on iPhone campaign this year either. The rules are simple: all you have to do is publicly upload relevant images to Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #ShotOniPhone by February 7. An expert jury will then select ten photos that will appear on billboards, as well as in brick-and-mortar and online Apple stores.

This year's jury will include, for example, Pete Souze, who photographed the former President of the United States, Barack Obama, or Luisa Dörr, who took a series of TIME magazine cover photos on her iPhone. Details about the campaign can be found at official website of Apple.
