In the past, there have been many programs associated with replacements of defective components or equipment. Now Apple has launched two more, one involving iPhone 6 Plus with a flashing gray bar at the top of the display and a broken touch layer, and the other involving iPhone 6S turning off “randomly”.
iPhone 6 Plus with an uncontrollable display
Already in August of this year, a large number of iPhone 6 Plus appeared, where the upper edge of the display behaved strangely and often completely stopped responding to touch. This phenomenon was soon called "Touch Disease" and was found to be caused by the loosening of the chips controlling the touch layer of the display. In the iPhone 6 Plus, Apple used less durable methods to attach them to the base plate, and after repeatedly dropping the phone or bending it slightly, the contacts of the chips can be broken.
The program now launched by Apple does not include free replacement of chips, as it assumes that mechanical damage to the device by the user is necessary to release them. Apple has set the recommended price of a service repair at 4 crowns. These repairs are carried out either directly at Apple or at authorized services. If the user has already subjected his iPhone 399 Plus to this repair and paid more, he has the right to a refund of the overpayment and should therefore contact Apple technical support (by clicking on the "contact Apple" link on the website).
Apple emphasizes that this program only applies to iPhone 6 Plus without a cracked screen, and that users have their devices before taking them to an authorized service center back up, turn off the "Find iPhone" function (Settings > iCloud > Find iPhone) and completely erase the contents of the device (Settings > General > Reset > Erase data and settings).
Self-shutdown iPhone 6S
Some iPhone 6S manufactured between September and October 2015 have battery issues that cause them to shut down on their own. So Apple has also launched a program that provides free battery replacement for such affected devices.
Users should take their iPhone 6S to an authorized service center, where it will first be determined whether the program applies to it based on the serial number. If so, the battery will be replaced. If there is any additional damage to the iPhone that requires repair before the battery is replaced, these repairs will be charged accordingly.
If the user has already had the battery replaced and paid for it, Apple can request reimbursement for the repair (contact can be found <a href="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1932/8043/files/200721_ODSTOUPENI_BEZ_UDANI_DUVODU__EN.pdf?v=1595428404" data-gt-href-en="https://en.notsofunnyany.com/">here</a> after clicking the "contact Apple about a refund" link).
The list of participating services can be found <a href="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1932/8043/files/200721_ODSTOUPENI_BEZ_UDANI_DUVODU__EN.pdf?v=1595428404" data-gt-href-en="https://en.notsofunnyany.com/">here</a>, but Apple still recommends contacting the selected service first and making sure that it offers the given service.
Again, the device is recommended before handing it over for service back up, turn off the "Find iPhone" function (Settings > iCloud > Find iPhone) and completely erase the contents of the device (Settings > General > Reset > Erase data and settings).
Do I have to go to the service center to find out if the problem concerns my iPhone 6S ??? These things could always be verified on the web by entering the serial number.
You can, of course, check your iPhone's manufacturing date by yourself using the IMEI.
I found an exact representation of what a serial number that falls under this program should look like: http://www.iopravna.cz/bezplatna-vymena-baterii-iphone-6s/
Hm too bad, I have *QN but my iphone does the same thing. :/
I also have a QN and I have already successfully replaced the battery (about a week before this happened ;-) ).
Definitely file a complaint.
I normally had the same problem as the description of the problem:
If I have less than 35% battery and I turn on something with a higher consumption (GPS + data), the phone reliably turns off.
They replaced my normal battery and then a good one.
So I would still check elsewhere - the problem also concerns me and I personally have the letters QJ in my dream, and Apple support and the Czech service told me that the exchange applies to me and at the same time the QJ service does not bother you between the dream and the right to exchange...
so we are in the same situation
Does anyone know how to find out the SN when I have a changed motherboard? I have a different IMEI, SN probably too. I have the original IMEI on the repaired one, but there is no SN on the repaired one... My phone turns off with iron regularity when it's a bit colder...shit!

Finally!!! The battery shutdown already pissed me off
