In connection with the introduction of new European legislation regarding the processing of personal data, technology companies (and not only them) are racing to offer their users the most comprehensive tools for managing all the personal data they hold about users. This intention a few weeks ago Apple also announced and as promised, it happened. Last night the company launched a brand new subsection of the website where you can access all the personal information the company holds about you. Here you can also determine what will happen to them.

The new website can be found here link. If you are accessing it from countries where the new legislation applies, you will automatically see this section focused on personal data. However, you must log in to your Apple ID account for any manipulation. After logging in, you will be presented with four main options that this site offers. First of all, here you can request to process a complete summary of what Apple keeps about you. This is the history of purchases, data associated with the use of applications, etc. The second option is to correct the above-mentioned data in case you come across an error.

The third option is to temporarily deactivate the account. During this time, neither you nor Apple can access your data. The last option is to completely delete your Apple ID account, including all stored information associated with this account. Each of the above-mentioned offers contains several steps that are thoroughly described. Due to the localization of this web subsection into Czech, no user should have a problem with it.
