Apple operating systems also include the voice assistant Siri. It can be very helpful in many ways and make our everyday life easier, which is twice as much true if you have a smart home at your disposal. Although Siri appears to be a great solution, it still faces a lot of criticism, as it lags significantly behind its competition.

Apple therefore tries to constantly improve it in its own way, even if it may not be so obvious. At the same time, it is therefore logical that they try to push their solution as much as possible among users and teach them to work with Siri, so that they can take full advantage of its capabilities and possibly not overlook this gadget. For example, when you start a new iPhone or Mac for the first time, you cannot avoid the question about activating Siri, when the device will also quickly show you what this assistant can actually do and what you can ask her. There are actually a lot of options. It just takes asking the right questions.

Silly mistakes we could do without

As we mentioned above, Siri unfortunately pays for some rather silly mistakes, which is why it lags behind its competition. One of the biggest problems is if we have several devices nearby. A huge benefit when using Apple products clearly lies in the integrated ecosystem, thanks to which it is possible to easily communicate between individual devices, transfer data, synchronize them, and the like. In this respect, apple growers have a huge advantage over others. In short and simply, what you do on an iPhone, for example, you can do on a Mac at the same time, in the case of photos taken/filmed, you can immediately transfer them via AirDrop. Of course, you also have the Siri voice assistant on every device. And that's precisely where the problem lies.

If you are in the office, for example, and you have not only an iPhone, but also a Mac and HomePod at hand, using Siri can be quite unfriendly. Just by saying the command "Hey siri,” the first difficulties arise - the voice assistant starts switching between devices and it is not at all clear to her which one she should actually answer you on. Personally, this ailment annoys me the most when I want to set an alarm on the HomePod. In such cases, unfortunately, I did not meet with success very often, because instead of the HomePod, the alarm was set on, for example, the iPhone. After all, this is why I myself stopped using Siri on Mac and iPhone, or rather its automatic activation through the mentioned command, since I almost always have several Apple devices with me, which then do whatever they want. How are you doing with Siri? Do you use this Apple voice assistant often, or are you missing something?
