Over four million new iPhones a day. Apple has announced that it sold more than 6 million of its new flagship phones, the iPhone 6S and 13S Plus, in the first weekend they went on sale worldwide. In addition, he revealed that the new iPhones will arrive in the Czech Republic already next week, on October 9.

"Sales for the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus were phenomenal, surpassing all previous first-weekend sales in Apple's history," Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a press release. A year ago, the Californian giant reported in the first three days 10 million iPhones sold (6 & 6 Plus), the year before one million less (5S & 5C). The sales curve continues to rise every year.

"The feedback from users has been incredible, they love 3D Touch and Live Photos, and we can't wait to offer iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus to customers in many more countries from October 9," added Cook, whose company is set to launch next Friday sell new phones in more than 40 other countries.

The Czech Republic and Slovakia are also among them. The new iPhone 6S will arrive only two weeks after the start of sales in the first wave of countries, i.e. a fortnight earlier than a year ago. You can find the complete list of countries where sales will start next Friday or Saturday here. By the end of 2015, Apple wants to offer iPhone 6S in more than 130 countries.

The Czech prices are not yet officially known, but considering the prices in Germany, it can be assumed that the cheapest iPhone 6S, i.e. the variant with 16GB of storage, will not be cheaper than 20 thousand crowns here. Conversely, the most expensive iPhone 6S Plus model will probably climb over 30 crowns.
