Apple CEO Tim Cook met with his employees today in Cupertino to announce a major milestone - Apple has already sold more than one billion iPhones. All this in the nine years that have passed since the introduction of the very first Apple phone.
“The iPhone has become one of the most important, successful and world-changing products in history. He became more than just a constant companion. The iPhone is truly an essential part of our lives," said Tim Cook at the morning meeting in Cupertino.
“Last week we passed another milestone when we sold the billionth iPhone. We've never set out to sell the most, but we've always set out to sell the best products that make a difference. Thank you to everyone at Apple who helps change the world every day," Cook concluded.
The news of the 1 iPhone that Tim Cook is said to be holding in the attached image comes just hours after Apple announced financial results for the last quarter. In it, the Californian firm once again recorded a year-on-year drop in sales and profit, but at least sales of the iPhone SE and an improvement in the condition of iPads proved to be positive.
How can he keep it when he sold himself? :O?
Cook lurked outside the store and took it from whoever bought it
he knew it was a piece with the number 1B, took a picture with it, returned it to circulation and waited to publish it until it was sold.
And what kind of nonsense is this? how could he possibly know? what if someone else was sold between the ones that were being photographed? :D I guess it was a joke, right?
Apple hasn't had anything that makes a difference among laptops for a long time...
