Jan Zdarsa Are you wondering how much interest there is in the world for the iPhone 4? How is it that Apple again does not have enough units in stock, although it knew full well that the interest would be high? The answer is simple, there is enormous interest in the iPhone 4.
A total of 1,7 million iPhone 4 units were sold in the first three days of sales alone. This was not only the best start to iPhone sales, but also the best start to sales of Apple products ever. Last year, Apple sold a total of 1 million iPhone 3GS units in the first three days, so this is a really significant jump.
iPhone 4 is currently sold in only a few countries, with sales in other countries expected to begin at the end of July. However, it is not certain in what wave the iPhone 4 will reach us, for the time being sales are expected to start in September of this year.
But the iPhone 3g and 3gs were sold mostly only in the USA. The fact that it is sold in 5 countries has a big influence on that! :)
