Millions of people have already bought the iPhone 4S. But all the time, the latest Apple phone is accompanied by battery problems. Users with iOS 5 installed complain that the phone's battery life is significantly lower than it should be. The problem may also concern other models. Apple has now confirmed that it has discovered some bugs in iOS 5 that affect battery life and is working hard on a fix.

There were various instructions circulating on the Internet on how to improve the endurance of iPhones under iOS 5 - the solution was supposed to be, for example, turning off Bluetooth or detecting the time zone - but of course it was not ideal. However, Apple is already working on an operating system update that should solve the problems. This is confirmed by a statement obtained by the server from Apple AllThingsD:

Some users have complained about battery life under iOS 5. We have found several bugs that affect battery life and will release an update in the coming weeks to address the issue.

The just released iOS 5.0.1 beta version confirms that Apple is really working on a fix. It traditionally gets into the hands of developers first, and according to the first reports, iOS 5.0.1 should, in addition to battery life, also fix several errors related to iCloud and enable gestures on the first iPad, which were missing in the first sharp version of iOS 5 and were only available on the iPad 2.

It is not yet clear when iOS 5.0.1 will be available to the public, but it should be a matter of days, weeks at the most.
