A few minutes ago, Apple introduced a brand new operating system that is designed exclusively for iPads. The company thus heard the complaints of users that super-powerful iPads are unnecessarily unused due to the insufficient operating system. That is changing now, iPadOS brings many great new features.
- The iPad received its own version of the operating system called iPadOS
- possesses completely redesigned user interface with a focus on multitasking and utilizing the enormous power of iPads
- option to pin widgets to the home screen
- pinning dock to any side of the screen
- iPadOS will make it possible doubling windows applications such as Mail, Notes, Safari, Word and many others
- completely redesigned file system
- support for unpacking/packing files
- support for subcomponent system and options sharing individual folders
- support for USB flash drives, external HDD and SD cards
- support import photos directly from the camera
- Safari on iPads will be able to display desktop versions of websites with automatic optimization for touch screen
- Safari is getting a new one download manager
- support new fonts within all text applications
- improved Apple Pencil response (from 20 to 9 milliseconds)
- It also has an Apple Pencil redesigned toolbar

Does anyone know if the Pencil response concerns only the new version or the first generation as well?
