Ondrej Holzman Apple today via your website confirmed that iPhone 4.1G owners will not get Game Center in iOS 3, as previously announced. The new iOS will be released tomorrow, and those using the second generation of the Apple phone are mainly hoping for performance optimization.
So, to summarize, Game Center will run on the second, third, and fourth generation iPod touch, as well as the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4. Those using the 3G version are simply out of luck and won't find it in iOS 4.1, along with other new features.
Game Center appeared on iPhone 3G in the iOS 4 betas, but was completely omitted in the final version of iOS 4, and when it returns now, it's not on all devices. Apple originally decided to phase out the second-generation iPod touch in addition to the iPhone 3G, but then decided that the application would be usable on the older device. I was surprised that the confirmation of the Apple account via the sent email was probably according to the IP on the Czech Apple Game Center page, even though I have a US account.
Ouch :( I'm looking forward to the evening when the iPhone will finally speed up and it still doesn't work? iTunes reports that I have the latest version and on apple.com that it's coming soon. I thought that deleting the account is because it's already possible download. Is it really going to be today? Yes, I know Jobs only has before lunch :-D I was just hoping you'd put it there at their midnight :)
As for speed, compared to 4.0.2 there has been an improvement, but it is still quite a bit slower than 3.1.3. So I'm going to downgrade again and hope for further improvements with 4.2.
version 4.2 iOS will be only for iPad, the next version for iPhone will have a different designation
Perhaps JB is sure, as with Wallpaper and MT. Although Apple has the advantage here that it runs on its servers.
