Apple has newly created a so-called "creative technology team", whose main goal will be to create new HTML5-based content on Apple's official website. He wants the website to fully support iOS devices such as the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

In addition, Apple said a few days ago that it is looking for a manager for this new team. As the job description of this manager, the job advertisement stated:

"This person will be responsible for managing the web standard (HTML5), an innovation that will enhance and redefine the marketing of Apple products as well as services for millions of customers. Work will also include exploring options for apple.com, email and mobile/multi-touch experiences for iPhone and iPad".

This means that this future manager will lead a team to develop interactive prototypes for the HTML5 website. This task is said to require a person who will research new types of content on apple.com and will also design the site for mobile and multi-touch browsers.

This suggests that we might soon see a mobile version of Apple's website based on HTML5. Which would surely be appreciated by many users of Apple products. In addition, the attitude of Steve Jobs and the entire Apple company towards Flash from Adobe is very well known. It has already been mentioned several times that we simply will not see Flash on iOS devices. Steve Jobs promotes HTML5.

HTML5 is a web standard and as it is stated in addition on Apple's website dedicated to HTML5 (you can view image galleries here, play with fonts, or view the street in front of the App Store), it is also open, highly secure and reliable. It also allows web designers to create advanced graphics, typography, animations and transitions.

In addition, all things in this standard can be played by iOS devices. Which is a big advantage. The disadvantage, on the other hand, is that this web standard is not yet so widespread. But that can change in a few months or a few years.
